Freelance Graphic Designing

Below are a few projects I did for various clients. The few I've selected to show have granted me permission to display on my site with some minor private info blocked.

West Coast Winds

Near the beginning of 2020, I was contacted by West Coast Winds, as they were looking for a new graphic designer to handing their magazine layout. It is is quite lengthy project and I continue to handle 1 or 2 issues per year for them.

The project involves both layout and ad creation, along with a fair bit of tech work. I carry out the job using a variety of programs, Mainly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.  Below is just one example of the largest issue I worked on for them.

Although not all the ads in the magazines are my creations, a large portion are my own designs. here are a few examples pulled from multiple issues

Harbour Landing Flyers

I was emailed by someone in association with a newly developed community and they requested a flyer for a logo design contest they had.

They wanted something to reflect the community and have it bright and colourful. The first 2 flyers were put together with that in mind. The first, being my own original design, and the second was centred around a stock photo I found on a free stock photo website.

The last flyer I took in a different direction in case the first 2 didn't come close to what they wanted.  But in the end, they picked the second flyer.

One Seed Consulting

This person recently had her logo redesigned and wanted to update her cards with it. The only request they had made is that they wanted me to use the same color scheme from the logo and make it look professional. Below, you can swipe through to see the different variations I made for her.

Reconciliation Regina

Someone working with the city of Regina approached me with a rush job. They asked me for a brochure for their upcoming "Reconciliation Regina" event. They needed it done the next day which meant I had all of 5 hours to plan, sketch, organize the information and finally put it all together in a final project. But, lucky for them, I love a good challenge.

Quantum Renovations.

I've done a lot of work for this individual but these are the most recent works they've requested from me. The first 2 pictures are of a logo redesign I did and turned it into a business card. The 3rd picture was a sign they requested that they could put on the yards of the houses they renovated. And lastly, they wanted a flyer for distribution.

Pure Zen Cleaning

This was a favour I did for someone, so I didn't get paid. However, I still like the work I did. They wanted a flyer for distribution. To help with costs, I gave them this half page design that gave them double the flyers for half the price. They were thrilled.
